Review Methodology

Post-Social reviews products through a human lens: what they help people preserve, understand, revisit and share over time.

Research and testing

Reviews combine direct product use where available, public documentation, pricing and policy checks, customer evidence and comparison with relevant alternatives. The page states material limitations when full testing was not possible.

The human scorecard

Products may be assessed across connection, presence, authenticity, revisitability, multigenerational usefulness, long-term value and permanence. These dimensions are editorial measures and are distinct from any overall five-point rating used in structured data.

Commercial disclosure

Free access, samples, affiliate links or commercial relationships must be disclosed. They do not grant a company advance approval or control over the verdict.

Company responses

Companies may provide factual corrections or updated documentation. Relevant evidence is assessed under the same editorial standard and material updates receive an updated date.

Verdicts

A recommendation reflects the product’s fit for the audience and purpose described in the review. It is not a universal guarantee and may change as the product, policies or evidence changes.
